At Friedman Injury Law, our job as Las Vegas personal injury attorneys is to help people stand back up when life knocks them down. Every day, we advocate for individuals who face sudden set-backs—whether from a serious car accident, an injury, or unexpected life hardship. We know that recovery takes grit, patience, and absolute determination.
We believe that higher education should be accessible to those who demonstrate that same resilience. That is why we are proud to launch The Friedman Injury Law Annual Resilience Scholarship. This $1,500 award is designed to lighten the financial burden for a deserving student who has overcome significant odds and is committed to using their education to make a positive impact.
Who Can Apply?
To be eligible for the scholarship, applicants must meet the following criteria:
- Enrollment: Currently enrolled in (or accepted to) an accredited high school, college, university, or graduate school in the United States.
- Academic Standing: Must maintain a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0.
- Age: Must be at least 17 years of age.
Essay Prompt & Requirements
Please submit an original essay of 600 to 800 words addressing the following:
- Overcoming Odds: Describe a major hardship, injury, or obstacle you have faced in your life. How did you get through this challenge?
- Growth & Purpose: How did overcoming this difficulty reshape your personal goals and prepare you to succeed in higher education?
- Paying It Forward: How do you plan to use your degree to help others navigate their own challenges in the future? (Note: AI-generated submissions will be automatically disqualified.)
Application Submission Guidelines

- Proof of Enrollment: A copy of your acceptance letter or current class schedule.

The selected winner will have the $1,500 award sent directly to the financial aid office of their accredited college or university.
