During law school, Blake was a member of the Moot Court Team and earned CALI awards in Advanced Negotiation and Mediation Advocacy and Pre-Trial Litigation.
During law school, Blake Friedman worked as a judicial extern for the Honorable Douglas W. Herndon in the Eighth Judicial District Court, who now sits as a Justice of the Nevada Supreme Court.

Blake has undergone several orthopedic surgeries and endured significant physical therapy. Over the last 20 years, Blake also watched his father undergo six lower back surgeries and post-operative rehabilitation and helped care for his father during these times.
