Friedman Injury Law Partners with Elevate with Mariela and Tread Vegas to Support Hannah’s Closet North
Friedman Injury Law was proud to bring the Las Vegas community together for a meaningful day of movement, connection, and giving back.
Our recent wellness event with Elevate with Mariela at Tread Vegas Fitness helped support Hannah’s Closet North, a local nonprofit resource center serving foster, adoptive, and kinship families throughout Southern Nevada. The event gave attendees an opportunity to participate in a community workout while donating gently used clothing, school supplies, and other essentials for children and families in need. (KSNV)
For our team, the event was about more than fitness. It was about showing up for local families, supporting children in foster care, and using community partnerships to create a positive impact beyond the courtroom.
A Wellness Event Built Around Community
The event brought together Friedman Injury Law, Elevate with Mariela, Tread Vegas, and Hannah’s Closet North for an afternoon centered on wellness and service. Local news coverage described the event as a community wellness gathering that supported foster children and helped bring residents together for a local cause. (KSNV)
Elevate with Mariela, led by Las Vegas trainer Mariela Ramos, focuses on helping people build strength, confidence, and comfort in the gym. Mariela’s mission is rooted in helping people move with purpose, feel strong, and become more confident in themselves. (ELEVATE with Mariela) That mission made the partnership a natural fit for an event that combined physical wellness with community care.
Hosted at Tread Vegas Fitness, the event gave attendees a welcoming space to move, connect, and give back. Tread Vegas Fitness operates locations in Central Las Vegas and Henderson and offers coach-led training programs for the local fitness community. (Tread Vegas Fitness)
Supporting Hannah’s Closet North
The donations collected at the event benefited Hannah’s Closet North, a Las Vegas nonprofit that provides practical resources to foster, adoptive, and kinship families. According to the organization, families can receive free clothing, shoes, diapers, toys, and other everyday items that help ease the burden on caregivers and support children in their care. (501 (C)(3) NONPROFIT ORGANIZATION)
Hannah’s Closet North accepts a wide range of donations, including new and gently used clothing and shoes, toys, books, new socks and undergarments, toiletries, diapers, wipes, baby formula, and school or art supplies. (501 (C)(3) NONPROFIT ORGANIZATION) These everyday items can make a meaningful difference for families who are providing safe, loving homes for children during important moments in their lives.
The organization’s mission is simple and powerful: to support foster, adoptive, and kinship families so they can focus on building trust, connection, and love with the children in their care. (501 (C)(3) NONPROFIT ORGANIZATION)
Why Giving Back Matters to Friedman Injury Law
At Friedman Injury Law, our work is rooted in helping people through difficult moments. As a Las Vegas personal injury law firm, we advocate for individuals and families after serious accidents, but our commitment to people extends beyond legal representation.
Community events like this one reflect who we are as a firm. We believe in supporting the people and organizations that make Southern Nevada stronger. Whether that means standing up for injured clients, participating in local events, or helping gather essential items for families in need, Friedman Injury Law is committed to giving back to the community we call home.
The event with Elevate with Mariela and Tread Vegas was a reminder that small acts of generosity can create real impact. A donated backpack, a pair of shoes, clean clothing, or school supplies can help a child feel cared for and help a caregiver feel supported.
Thank You to Everyone Who Participated
Friedman Injury Law is grateful to everyone who attended, donated, volunteered, and helped make this event possible. We are especially thankful to Elevate with Mariela, Tread Vegas, and Hannah’s Closet North for their partnership and shared commitment to serving local families.
We are proud to support organizations that lift up foster, adoptive, and kinship families in Southern Nevada, and we look forward to continuing to find ways to give back.
