Las Vegas is a city built on big moments, and this summer brought another one to Southern Nevada: Major League Baseball at Las Vegas Ballpark.
Friedman Injury Law was proud to serve as the presenting partner of the A’s Las Vegas Summer Series, held June 8–14 at Las Vegas Ballpark in Downtown Summerlin. As part of this partnership, Friedman Injury Law also donated $10,000 to the A’s Community Fund, supporting programs that help make a positive impact on families, children, and communities throughout the region.
A Special Baseball Moment for Las Vegas
The A’s Las Vegas Summer Series represented more than a week of games. It was an important step in the Athletics’ growing relationship with Southern Nevada as the franchise prepares for its future home in Las Vegas.
According to MLB, the A’s six-game Las Vegas homestand took place at Las Vegas Ballpark, home of the Las Vegas Aviators, the team’s Triple-A affiliate. The ballpark sits in Downtown Summerlin, about 13 miles west of the future A’s ballpark site on the Las Vegas Strip, which is scheduled to open for the 2028 season. (MLB.com)
For local fans, the Summer Series created an opportunity to experience regular-season Major League Baseball in an intimate, community-centered setting. For Friedman Injury Law, it was an opportunity to support a moment that brought families, sports fans, and the Las Vegas community together.
Supporting the A’s Community Fund
Community support has always been central to Friedman Injury Law’s mission. The firm was honored to donate $10,000 to the A’s Community Fund in connection with the Summer Series.
The A’s also used the Las Vegas homestand as an opportunity to deepen their community engagement. MLB reported that the team’s community efforts during the week included visits to a West Las Vegas library, youth programming with the Boys & Girls Club of Southern Nevada, and volunteer work at Three Square Food Bank. Friedman Injury Law is proud to support efforts like these because they reflect the kind of city Las Vegas continues to be: generous, connected, and committed to showing up for one another.
